I live here in MT.Pleasant stopped by one day on my way to work. Ordered some BBQ and sides the ribs were tough and overcooked. The two I had were terrible threw them in the trash. I will never stop here again.

Sliced beef + sausage = best meat combo

You'll miss this place if you're not careful. But don't miss it, because it's dang good BBQ. I stopped in while I was in town for business, and I'm glad I did. I got the turkey sandwich, and I almost didn't finish it, along with the beans and potato salad. And I always finish my BBQ. The smell that greets you when you walk through the door is worth the visit. They have craft beer brewed in-house, and wine from local sources. The owner is a cool guy who is definitely a gem in the community. Seriously, just get you some.

This is the BEST Q! Amazing bark, so moist it falls apart and even though the sauce is delicious you don’t even need it!!!! Service is Texas-friendly and it is a MUST STOP IN place. Woohoo 😎

The Best ribs, brisket, and sausage you will ever eat. Specially the jalapeño cheese sausage. And try a glass of beer/wine to top off your visit. Excellent service!! The kind of service you wont really get anywhere else.

I dare you to try their own Spicy BBQ sauce

Mark does a great job with the BBQ! Always friendly and entertaining. I'm glad to see he expanded his offerings to microbrew beer, wine, and winearita! I always get the brisket off the back (more fat) and cubed or chunky cut. The BBQ is just right! Just watch out for the super hot sauce as it has a warning for a reason.

This was an excellent little place, great food, awesome staff and good some good home brew.

Found this place searching "restaurants near me". BOY AM I GLAD THEY POPPED UP!! We're from Michigan visiting family in San Antonio and had to stop for some good food after a long long drive. Between the delicious moist meat (you can't go wrong with any choice), the friendly staff, nice historical ambiance, and the handsome Mark behind the counter, we all enjoyed our food as well as the conversations. Our little picky eater who only asked for McGriddles and threw a fit when she didn't get them has already asked for a repeat visit when we come back down in the winter!!! Definitely recommend!!

Amazing smoked turkey! I ordered a three meat plate and got turkey, pulled pork and brisket. The baked beans are some of the tastiest I've had the pleasure to eat. The service was attentive, friendly and smiles on their faces. High quality food is what draws you in but it's the spirit of the place which continue to bring you back. Definitely a keeper!

I try to make this a regular stop when traveling to Mt Plesasnt. Wonder cozy environment to dine in. The staff is warm, welcoming and inviting. Best of all, the food is great.

Stopped for lunch and got the 2 meat dinner plate. It’s a little pricey, but the food is good. Brisket is perfectly smoky and juicy. Delicious ribs are perfectly smoked. Potato salad is more like loaded mashed potatoes, but is very tasty. Great food and good service!

Really great restaurant. Barbecue was really good and brisket was awesome. Jalapeno cheddar sausage also awesome. Ranch style beans, black eyed peas and baked beans were very good. I thought the only negative would be very minor in the ribs there was a very little bit of char that was way too charred. Even though the meat did fall off the bone. Great food and service. I would definitely return here in the future.

The best BBQ on EARTH!! Everything on the menu is excellent. Cool staff, clean tables. Food portions are great. The food is so good, my wife and I come here during the summer all the way from Los Angeles just to eat this food, so you know it’s good! We can’t wait to come back again. I highly recommend this place!!! 👍🏾

Great Bar-Be-Que. Fun, helpful staff and love the old license plates. The HOT🔥Sauce is HOT but the regular was great!!! Enjoyed my visit!!!

Stopped in for a quick bite while traveling for work. I ordered the jalapeño cheese sausage and it was fantastic. The cole slaw is on point as well. My colleague had the brisket and potato salad and said that it was very moist and flavorful. Would definitely visit again if I am ever back in the area.

For my husband me and our 3 year old just for a lunch it was $65!! Food was good, but price wasn't.

Stop every year on our girls trip to canton, brisket is the very best!!! Bought a bag of their dry rub to bring home .....want more ! You guys are Awesome !!!

What really made the experience was challenging the cooks to light me up. They shared with us a sauce that was diabolical and checked ever box on my list for great sauces. Hot, delicious, and paired perfectly with their meat. 5/5 would recommend again!

The Best bar-b-que in this town but the brisket was dry. The man cutting the meat was super friendly but the lady at tbe counter was as dry as the brisket. I heard they have a smoked patoto that is delicious. Old school decorations complete with licence plates.

Just got a sliced beef plate here I asked for no fat and it was mostly fat so I just threw it away. I want be back here. I guess the owner only replays to positive things about his bbq not the negative.

The brisket melts in your mouth good. The sides are tasty. You are always met with a smile and helpful employees. The place is always clean. I always walk with a great experience

Solid Que. Brisket was moist and full of flavor, the sauce is also very good. If your like hot BBQ sauce they have several options that will make your mouth water.

These guys know meat, the service was great, super friendly, and good to chat with. Don't know what to order? No problem, you can't go wrong here. Just order a 2 meat (or more!) Dinner of whatever sounds best and sit back and soak up the goodness. Careful with the hot AF sauce, it's the real deal and real good.

Flavorful and well cooked bbq! The sauce is good and the hot sauce is even better! A very solid heat if you like actually hot sauces and if you want more heat these guys can definitely provide! Staff is very friendly!

Great food and the customer service was impeccable. I'm from out of town and asked a buddy from here where I could get BBQ, and he said there is only ONE place and that was Outlaws. He was right. I will make the three hour drive just to eat here again!

My husband and I stopped there today on our way home to S.D. This place is fantastic for BBQ lovers! Who complained about the ribs? Ours was the best we've ever had! Plus the beef brisket is beyond excellent. We will be back!

They know my son so well they dont even have to ask what he is having. Be sure to be second in line and ask for the "Same Thang"..

Great BBQ and a good sauce that doesn't revisit me hours later. Microbrew beers and a decent wine a rita. All conveniently located.

It was good and the service was friendly. This was my first time going to this location after having been going to the Daingerfield location for years. I LOVE the Daingerfield location but this one didn't seem to be as good, that is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Our experience was awesome. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our food was really tasty. We can recommend both the chopped beef sandwich and the sloppy joe.
